Ground Zero is a collaborative effort between Theoretic and Nam 1 Sekatti, both representing Chicago, Illinois. Officially taking off in 2010, they met in 2008 and had made a few tracks together (some of Theoretics first recordings) along with Chicago's Cypha MC at the time. The two have a type of similar style, yet very unique in their own resistive and compelling ways. Not long after, the connection was enough to officially launch a group in a phase of a recession that was in dire need for a voice of reason. This piece comes as the 6th recording between the two, featuring an upcoming rapper by the name of Young Pharaoh (YP), who manages to add a stylish kick and twist of knowledge on the table. The tune is composed by world famous producer/DJ DJEMBA DJEMBA from the west coast (L.A). and his accomplice, St. Andrew.
